Silver Sauvignon Blanc
Compelling aromas of green grass, ripe green pepper, accented with orange and peach blossom. Vibrant and lively, the palate is coated and refreshed with white grapefruit, pomelo, and Canada Fancy apple peel. Notes of dry summer grass, vanilla and crème brûlée create complexity, with slight minerality continuing from the palate through the mouth-watering finish. Cellar time in the bottle will unveil further complementary tropical fruit aromas and flavours.
Brilliant upon release though it will develop nicely through 2023 under ideal cellaring conditions.
Katherine McEachnie: This is exceptional Sauvignon Blanc displaying notable freshness, vivid herbaceous and keen fruit aromas. The palate presents a yin yang of tartness balanced out with refreshing fruit and vanilla spice. The finesse mirrors the high quality of Sauvignon Blanc wines that are produced in the old world regions of Sancerre and Pouilly Fume of the Loire Valley, France. Without a doubt the best Sauvignon Blanc I have tasted from anywhere in the Okanagan Valley. 94 points.
Christopher Waters: There’s no mistaking the grape variety here. The mix of refreshing citrus and fleshy peach and stone-fruit flavours with some attractive herbal green notes are textbook sauvignon blanc. But this isn’t the austere or electric Marlborough model. It’s more substantial and layered, with a satisfying juicy finish. Drink now to 2022. 91 points.
