Gold Chardonnay 2018
Aromas of melon, preserved lemon, honeycomb, peach & orchard flowers, and brioche. The palate is full, round and creamy while at the same time, crisp and focused. Pear, lemon curd, with subtle hints of butterscotch and crème brûlée. Vibrant while rich; well balanced with acidity which is characteristic to our estate, leading to a bright, lifted and lasting finish.
Drinking beautifully now and will age gracefully through 2025 under ideal cellaring conditions.

The structural components of this wine are harmoniously integrated exuding a rich & powerful yet elegant and feminine mouthfeel. The subtle oak indicates finessed winemaking striking the perfect balance and framing the wine in a most sophisticated way. The freshness of this wine is absolutely impressive. This is one of the best Chardonnays in the Okanagan Valley and if I was tasting blind, I would argue that it exemplifies the world class elegance and finesse of a Grand Cru Chassagne Montrachet from the Côte d’Or region of Burgundy. It is without question, an exceptional Chardonnay!

Toasty, spicy nose of apple and melon with nuances of oak with barnyard notes (very Burgundian); medium-bodied, mouth-filling, creamy flavours of apple, toast and lemon; rich and elegant with a caressing mouth-feel and an unconscionably long finish.
